Who do the GDPR laws actually apply to?
The GDPR law follows any European citizen, regardless of where they are located. If a VAA has a customer in the USA but the individual is a European citizen, then the compliance applies. It is important that all of the TTI SI network is aware of this law, as it follows all European citizens no matter where they are located.
What if I have a contract?
If there is a contract between a business and an individual who is a European Citizen, and the individual requests for their information to be erased, the data controller has to provide a date of data erasure in order to be compliant. The data controller is obligated to complete the erasure request at the completion of their negotiated terms.
Can a respondent's information be regenerated?
Can I get the respondent’s information back once a removal request has been approved?
TTI Success Insights is compliant with the GDPR law, which states that all data erasure must be completed within 30 days of the request. Once the information has been removed from the database, it is unable to be regenerated. The respondent must take the assessment again if their information is required in order to continue conducting business with a company/VAA in the network.
This also means the information for the respondent would be removed, or changed to anonymous, for any team report or comparison report they were included in.

How can my respondent find their data information?
The respondent can enter their name and email address in the web address below and find any reports that are connected to their information. Within the information that they receive, they will see whether or not an erasure request has been submitted, as well as the status of their request.
