Why do you need to know this information?
This regularly updated document is provided to ensure reference to the scale values mentioned in the reports.
This information is used in assessments to show assessment-takers where their scores fall on the larger scale of data collected.
How can you use this information?
When people who have taken an assessment see their scores and see the mean, they might want to see how they compare to the larger population. This document helps you explain how that works.
Clients might ask how they compare to the average assessment-taker. This mean comes from the data gathered from anyone who has taken an assessment in the same language as them.
This document comes from a new evaluation of our data for 2021. We try to keep our assessments updated with the latest data, and this is one of the ways we do that.
Why do the zone ranges matter?
The zone ranges provide you with a clear vision of how much room you have when a person does not fall exactly in the same score required by the job.
This range will guide you into how far you can go either below or above the job score and also what it means to be far away from that score in terms of needed development.
Zones ranges are helpful to avoid disqualifying people because they do not fall in the same score as the job requires.
They can also be used to define the areas where a person may need development beyond the story the score itself tells you.
