1. TTI SI Account

What is Single Sign On and How Does it Help?

To make accessing and managing your account easier, we are going to use a single sign on system.

What is Single Sign On (SSO)?

As the name implies, it is a system that allows a user, such as yourself, to use one username and password to access many secured websites, without ever having to enter the login for each site.  You can even link your Google or LinkedIn account to access you TTISI account without entering a username and password each time.

How does this work?

Without getting technical, SSO systems work like this:

        1. You attempt to access IDS or my.ttisi.com
        2. That site then asks the TTISI account system who you are.
        3. If you are not logged in to your TTISI account, you will be asked to authenticate.
        4. Then your TTISI account validates to IDS who you are and allows access.

How does this help me?

SSO allows you to go between our systems without the need to authenticate with a username and password each time.  Next, the system in IDS will allow you to create additional sign-ins for other people that are kept under your account. This allows you to share access to your IDS account without sharing your username and password; each person has their own TTISI account.  See the article on adding associates here.
