After you set up a password-protected link, here is how to get them to the respondents.
In your IDS account, locate the link you have set up passwords in, that you need to distribute to respondents. Click on the name of the link to open the "Link Info" tab.
On the link info tab, click the "Edit" button.
At the top of the page, click the "Passwords" tab.
In the password management screen, you have three methods to send passwords.
If you know the email addresses for the respondents, click "Send Passwords to Respondents".
Enter a subject for your email and a personal message for your respondents on the left side of this window.
In the respondents field, enter the emails for each respondent, makings sure to hit enter/return between each address.
The email will include the link to the survey.
Once all email addresses are added, click "Send" to send them each their personal password.
If you do not have a list of emails for the respondents, then you have two options on how to send the passwords to a client to distribute.
Click on "Export" to download a spreadsheet of the passwords you can use to track their distribution or send to a client.
Or if you want to send the list of passwords to a client, click the "Email Passwords" and enter the client's email in the Recipient List to send a spreadsheet of the selected passwords.
You can send to more than one address using this method.
