Link Organization and Management (Best Practices)

You know how to create your links, but what is the best way to organize them? Here are a few ideas.

A good way to manage your links when you don't work with a large number of clients is to name your links based on the report type, such as- DISC/Behaviors Executive Version.

In the case of all of your clients using the same assessment (i.e. DISC Management-Staff), and you are not working with other team members from the same company, it may be easier for you to use one link for all your clients. When searching for a particular client's report, you can simply click the "Reports" tab in the center, and type the client's name in the search box.

When dealing with multiple people from the same company, and/or multiple companies/clients, it is usually best to name the links based on the company name. This can help you find the reports relating to that specific company when you need them. An example of this would be ABC Company- DISC Mgmt. Staff.

Pro tip- Put the company at the beginning of the link name. This will help you find the link easily, as the list shows all links in alphabetical order.

When working with a company and utilizing different assessments, it may be useful to create a sub-account for this company. You can utilize your sub-accounts much like you would drawers in your file cabinets, with links as the individual folders. Name the sub-account by the company, and create links for each of the assessments that the company will be using inside of that sub-account.

At the top of the page on the left-hand side, you have the main account and sub-accounts.

Inside the accounts is where you create the links.

Inside the links is where the reports live.

Within the link settings, you select your preferred forms of interaction between the client and the assessment/report. This includes welcome messages, how or when the report will be received, any marketing tags or logos, etc.
